Two Bremerton Men Injured in Silverdale Car Accident

Two Bremerton men were injured in an accident on Highway 3 in Silverdale today.

The accident occurred around 4 p.m. today at milepost 43 in Silverdale.

According to a Washington State Patrol report, a 22-year-old Bremerton man driving a 2013 Kia Soul, and a 57-year-old Bremerton man driving a 1999 Toyota Camry, were both driving southbound on Highway 3 approaching the exit to the Kitsap Mall. The 57-year-old reportedly stopped for traffic, and the 22-year-old rear-ended him, the report states.

Both men were transported to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton. Both vehicles were totaled.

The report lists the cause of the accident as inattention, and lists negligent driving as a possible charge for the 22-year-old.
